I’m planning to add an ASIC miner to my home setup, but I need something that won’t turn the house into a furnace or sound like a jet engine. I’ve seen a few new models for 2025, but I’m not sure which is the quietest or most practical for home use. Any recommendations?

I’m running a small home setup too and noise was a big issue at first. After trying a few models, the WhatsMiner M60S really impressed me. It’s liquid-cooled, so it runs way quieter than air-cooled options and doesn’t push out nearly as much heat. For me, it’s the best ASIC miner for bitcoin 2025 https://captainaltcoin.com/best-bitcoin-miners-in-2025-comparison-prices-and-expert-insights/ especially in a home environment. The Antminer S21 has raw power but is just too loud and hot unless you’ve got a dedicated room with solid ventilation. I’d also suggest checking the power draw versus your breaker capacity—some units need a 240V line and that’s a hassle if you’re not set up for it. M60S felt like the sweet spot in terms of power, efficiency, and usability.
