Event merchandise for a charity campaign

We’re organizing a charity event and plan to sell merchandise (T-shirts, caps, and tote bags) to raise funds. The goal is to make the items attractive enough that people will want to wear them afterward, not just at the event. We’re wondering which materials and printing methods are the most durable and appealing while still being cost-effective. Any tips from someone who’s managed a similar project?
