Hey everyone, hoping someone here has run into this before. My septic pump keeps tripping the breaker every couple of weeks. Sometimes it’ll run fine for days, then out of nowhere it shuts off and I have to reset the breaker. I thought maybe it was an electrical issue, but an electrician checked the wiring and said it looked fine. Could it be the pump itself? I don’t want to replace it unless I know that’s the real issue. Has anyone had a similar experience, and what did you end up doing to fix it?

Yep, I’ve had that exact headache. In my case, the pump motor was on its last legs and pulling too many amps, which kept tripping the breaker. The wiring was fine too, so at first I thought it was a mystery problem. When I replaced the pump with a new one from https://septicsolutionsllc.com the issue stopped completely. Their pumps are designed for septic use and come with good specs listed, which helped me choose the right one for my system. Been running over a year now with no breaker trips. If your wiring checks out, the pump itself is usually the culprit.
