The problem with the FMC is, as I see it, that its so sim-like that it feels like all you've done so far is to try to recreate all the features that have been in the list of features since 1994. Look at it this way, the FMC has so been programmed, that it not only allows entering and editing all the variables there are for the full aircraft, but that it will also let the user edit them so that he can fit the plane's parameters to his level of flying skill.
If you are not experienced or want a better plane to fly, you would probably have a better experience if you are able to fly the FMC directly. Try to program the variables yourself. To me, the plane feel much much more realistic if you manipulate the variables yourself. You will have to adapt the A380's behaviour to your new level of skill.
In the latest version of the A380 there are a lot of graphical improvements. Take a look at this video for a comparison between the old and the new plane. The new plane is basically better. I am happy with the improvements, but I tried the plane already twice and it had some bugs.First time I tried it there were some inconsistencies in the side windows, so that one of the side windows was disappearing. With a bit of research I can say that this is the window through which you get a picture from the cameras. The second time I didn't have the problem, but the plane is a bit unstable when landing. In previous versions, the runway was nicely highlighted in red, but in the newest version it's weirdly lit yellow. It's very hard to land now. I hope that the issues will be fixed soon. d2c66b5586
