To get started, you will need to install the role and modify the settings to match your environment. In this example, we will install the RDS role on the first server and set it as the activation server.
Edit the following settings to match your environment.
Active Directory Domain Name: Enter the active directory domain name, e.g. contoso.com
Primary Domain Controller (PDC): Enter the PDC name (e.g., pa1.contoso.com)
Forest Functional Level: Enter the forest functional level, which is different from the operating system functional level. In this example, we are at win2012. This setting will be honored even if the server does not have all the features that are available on the operating system. (On these servers, there are two paths that are checked: win2012 and win2012r2.win2012r2 is the one that we are interested in. However, you do not need to have both win2012 and win2012r2 installed. You just need one of them, but it must be at the same forest functional level)
Forest Schema Modification Time: Enter the time that you want to modify the forest schema to be the next day (e.g., 15:00:00)
Logon Account: Enter an account that will be assigned to be a logon account for the server.
Once you have installed the RDS role (RDS_DEPLOYMENT) on a server and added it to the server role group, you will need to run the following command. Modify the database path and make sure that the path is valid.
Make sure that the same KMS server is installed on all the target Windows 10 devices you want to activate. You can also deploy a KMS server on a device in a VLSC, so that anyone can use that KMS server. However, you will need to set the device to use that KMS server. To do this, select the device in the device management console and go to License settings. Then go to Activation lock settings and select the KMS server that you just installed.
This error occurs when a Volume License (a license that was bought from Microsoft by an organization to install Windows on multiple devices) was used on more devices than the Microsoft Software License Terms allow. To fix the problem, you might need to use a different product key to activate Windows on your device. Contact your organization's support person for more info.
Please help me, I have contacted Dell and Microsoft about this, and I think they have just brushed me off. I also need to know if Vista 32 bit is compatible with a 64bit processor. I have a Dell PC that was a gift and my friend is a non technical person. 827ec27edc
